The EIPs make integration of social, economic, and environmental quality aspects into its siting, planning, management and operations.

THE BENEFITS OF MEASURING ECO-INDUSTRIAL PARKS

In order to understand the sustainable performance of Eco-Industrial Parks, it is necessary to find suitable indicators to describe the pace and the phase of the transition towards more extensive and sustainable circular economy solutions. The set of multiple indicators will facilitate the efficient management, that identifies the gaps and needs and directs the right actions accordingly.
