The programme lasts 5 weeks and includes 5 online sessions, complemented by mentoring sessions to provide personalized guidance and support
The TUNDRA programme is an initiative designed to empower women-led growth-stage companies in the climate technology sector, particularly those operating within Arctic regions.
The Arctic region in the Nordic countries faces unique climate challenges that have global repercussions. Its temperature is rising at least three times faster than the global average, leading to dramatic consequences related to climate change. These changes endanger local environments, prompting urgent collaborative action from Arctic nations and increasing interest from the private sector and government entities seeking climate related innovation opportunities, however there is a huge importance in supporting innovative companies to ensure higher value creation locally and attract talents.
Women-led Climate tech ventures in the Arctic region face unique scalability challenges as a result of limited access to role models, networks and funding. While early-stage ventures receive support through different initiatives, there is a gap in assistance for later-stage companies. The project aims to support women-led companies to grow their business by expanding their market reach, and finding funding opportunities. Additionally, the programme aims to raise awareness about the challenges faced by women founders and strengthen the role of women leaders in the ecosystem.
The programme is open to women-led companies in the climate tech sector that are at the growth stage and have a significant impact on Arctic regions.
The TUNDRA programme aims to support women entrepreneurs in climate technology, promote sustainable innovations, and drive economic growth in Arctic regions.
The programme lasts 5 weeks, from November 13th to December 18th, 2024.
Participants will receive tailored support, mentorship, funding opportunities, access to a network of industry experts, and potential partnerships with leading organizations.
