Nordic Circular Summit November 2025 Nuuk, Greenland

The Nordic Circular Summit is the largest circular economy conference in the Nordics. It brings together policymakers, businesses, researchers, and changemakers to share knowledge, strengthen collaboration, and accelerate the transition toward circular and regenerative systems. Since its inception in 2020, the Summit has become a key platform for Nordic and international dialogue on sustainability, innovation, and circular growth.
Alisa Mick the CEO of MiXi joined the summit to moderate the "Locally Rooted" session.
This session explored what self-sufficiency means in a circular economy — and how the Nordic region can strengthen its locally rooted yet globally connected industries. Through perspectives spanning society, finance, and governance, the discussion examines how communities, businesses, and institutions can collaborate to create resilient value chains and resource sovereignty while maintaining openness and cooperation across borders.
Changing the linear system is challenging, but together, we can make it happen
